Darren Miller has a busy life and goals to reach.

And he is knocking off those goals one by one.

Miller, a private banker and head of the Forever Fund, became the 52nd swimmer to join the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming with his successful circumnavigation around Manhattan Island in New York City yesterday.

With the Tsugaru Channel in Japan and Extreme North Dakota Watersports Endurance Test (END-WET) in North Dakota coming up in July, Miller earned his Triple Crown colors in the annual Manhattan Island Marathon Swim. But he has no time to waste as he is off packing to head to the northernmost island of Japan on his quest to achieve the Oceans Seven.

In addition to his circumnavigation of Manhattan Island and work for the Forever Fund, Miller has completed the English Channel, Molokai Channel, Strait of Gibraltar and Catalina Channel in short order. Between his travels and training, he is also raising money for the Forever Fund that aids families in their struggle to afford the costs associated with infant cardiothoracic surgery at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

The list of Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming members – those who completed swims in the English Channel, Catalina Channel and around Manhattan Island - includes the following individuals:
