2016 Irish Long Distance Swimming Association Awards

Sinead Merrigan reported on the recent Irish Long Distance Swimming Association ceremony. “The awards were a fantastic success with old faces and new gathering together. It was also a good night out and about the beautiful city of Belfast.
It was great to have the support of so many individuals including Alderman Brian Kingston, Swim Ulster President Betty Beattie, Swim Ireland President Mary Dunne and the full support of both Dublin City Council and Belfast City Council as well as so many sponsors.“

Hummer Award (2007, 2010) and Harvard University's John B. Imrie Award (1984). Served on the FINA Technical Open Water Swimming Committee and as Technical Delegate with the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games, and 9-time USA Swimming coaching staff.
