If we were retired and had an extremely large amount of discretionary funds and a private jet to focus on open water swimming, we would love to travel the world for one year and swim the race courses of both our favorite races and of events that we always wanted to try.

For the month of January, we want to see all those ice swimming events and competitions in cold water locations.* Our theoretical schedule would start of in London and then take us to both the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere.

We will put together a 365-day open water swimming bucket list for the rest of the month.
