5K Race At The 2019 World Beach Games

16 sports will be celebrated and contested at the inaugural
World Beach Games (officially called the ANOC World Beach Games Qatar 2019 or 2019 ألعاب شاطئ العالم in Arabic) in
Doha,
Qatar in October 12th – 16th that includes 60 athletes racing over a 5 km open water course held on Sunday, October 13th.
Over 100 nations will send a total of 1,200 athletes to participate in the international competition. The open water swimmers qualified for competition at the 2019 FINA World Championships that were held recently in Gwangju, South Korea.
