
8 Times As Good On 7 Straight Days

In collaboration with Coney Island Brighton Beach Open Water Swimmers, David, Rondi and Coney Island Brighton Beach Open Water Swimmers will organize 7 marathon swims on 7 straight days from the peaceful Catskills to the dramatic Narrows in New York.
From the Rip Van Winkle Bridge in the Hudson River down to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in New York Harbor, 12 swimmers will cover 13.2 to 19.8 miles each day. David describes his vision as a week-long open-water swimming odyssey to celebrate the mighty Hudson and the New York Harbor.
The stages include the following:
Stage 1, Monday June 25. Rip Van Winkle Bridge – Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge (18.3 miles or 29.4 km)
Stage 2, Tuesday June 26. Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge – Mid-Hudson Bridge (19.8 miles or 31.8 km)
Stage 3, Wednesday June 27. Mid-Hudson Bridge – Newburgh Beacon Bridge (13.2 miles or 21.2 km)
Stage 4, Thursday June 28. Newburgh Beacon Bridge – Bear Mountain Bridge (15.2 miles or 24.4 km)
Stage 5, Saturday June 30. Bear Mountain Bridge – Tappan Zee Bridge (19.8 miles or 31.8 km)
Stage 6, Sunday July 1.Tappan Zee Bridge – George Washington Bridge (15.7 miles or 25.2 km)
Stage 7, Monday July 2. George Washington Bridge – Verrazano Narrows Bridge (18.1 miles or 29.1 km)
