A Passionate Ocean Conservationist Dives Into His Passion

Underwater cinematographer Richard Theiss discusses his personal experiences with sharks, shark conservation, and his work documenting sharks.

Besides different film proposals about several shark species and the threat of radioactivity in the marine ecosystem, I am making contributions to the Republic of Kiribati regarding developing dive ecotourism in the Phoenix Islands Protected Area and will speak this month’s Colorado Ocean Coalition’s Making Waves event.”
