What kind of office would open water swimmers want to have?
What kind of boss and co-workers would they appreciated?
We would certainly want an office with a view, preferably an ocean view with an island in the background. The office would need no air conditioning or heater as the ocean breeze would be a constantly comfortable. And a pre-work, mid-day, and evening swims would only be a few short steps away.
Our ideal boss would be a person who has done many things in the open water world that we have not and who understands a healthy lifestyle balanced between family, work and play. The co-workers would be men and women of all ages and abilities who would not mind cold-water swims (to a degree) in the winter and long casual swims in the summer along with an occasional night swim.
