AM Finishes BB-CI-BB In The PM

The BB-CI-BB (Brooklyn Bridge-Coney Island-Brooklyn Bridge) Swim is a two-way 24-mile (38.6 km) crossing of the Brooklyn Marathon Swim.

The Brooklyn Marathon Swim is a 12-mile (19.3 km) marathon swim between Brooklyn Bridge and Coney Island in New York. It is a historical course whose roots go back over 100 years since 1901. Over 70 swimmers have documented to complete the swim.

Alan Morrison completed one of the few BB-CI-BB swim the weekend. “It went extremely well. We started at 10:32 am at the Brooklyn Bridge and turned around at 2:15 pm at the Steeplechase Pier.

After the turnaround on Coney Island and finished at 8:21 pm at the Brooklyn Bridge. The swim took 9 hours 48 minutes as the water temperature of a low of 62°F and a high of 70°F

The renowned marathon breaststroker did freestyle with breaststroke occasionally for sighting.
