Amazon Should Not Sell Shark Souvenirs

Amazon Should Not Sell Shark Souvenirs

On Change.org, OceanKin Conservation is asking Amazon to ban the shark teeth, jaws and dead shark pups in bottles. They explain, “More than 100 million sharks die every year at the hands of humans. On Amazon.com, you can buy shark souvenirs. Amazon is sending the wrong message by allowing shark parts to be sold on its platform. Some are even from endangered species like Mako sharks and Spiny Dogfish Sharks.

Shark populations have declined by 70% in just 60 years, we need to do everything in our power to protect these vital animals before the oceans ecosystems collapse. “
