Anja Binder Becomes An Iron Icewoman

Anja Binder of Germany became the most recent Iron Icewoman when she completed theIronman Triathlon in Hamburg, Germany on August 29th in 15 hours 0 minutes 51 seconds.

She had previously completed her first Ice Mile on March 28th earlier this year when she swam 1625 meters (1.01 miles) in 4.4°C water in Bystrzyckie Lake in Zagórze, Poland that took her 44 minutes 15 seconds.

The 34-year-old extreme athlete from Germany is shown below at the Silesia Winter Swimming event:
