Anna-Carin Nordin, Round She Goes

Anna-Carin Nordin pioneered the first 30 km counterclockwise circumnavigation swim around Frösön in Sweden.

On July 24th 2022, the Oceans Seven swimmer (first woman and second person in history), who is annually named to the World’s 50 Most Adventurous Open Water Women, lived up to her prolific legacy of marathon swims.

She started at 10:17 am [shown above] and finished at 9:28 pm at Badhusparken Park. Under the guidance of escort captain Lars Ivarsson and crew members Anna Ivarsson and Erik Nordin, the 51-year-old from from Jättendal, Sweden finished in 11 hours 11 minutes in the 14-17°C water.
