Anna Lominadze of Georgia is following in the wake of such luminaries as Harry Houdini, Jack LaLanne and Paolo Eros Cerizzi (“Dolphinman“).

Renowned for their exploits, Houdini escaped while handcuffed; LaLanne swam up and down America’s West Coast while handcuffed; Dolphinman swam across the Strait of Messina in Sicily and in the Flowers Sea Swim in the Cayman Islands wearing handcuffs.

But Anna Lominadze dolphins faster and further than her male predecessors. At the age of 17 in 2012, she swam 5.5 km in 50 minutes across the Dardanelles from a village in Edzhiabat to Kefez, south of Canakkale with her hands and feet tied.
