
Anne McLindon Always Does Something Special

Anne McLindon has traveled the world to share her passion and knowledge of open water swimming with children and adults of all ages and abilities.
She will travel from Washington D.C. to Long Beach, California in July to serve as the Technical Delegate for the Special Olympics World Summer Games open water swimming and POW exhibitions at U.S.C.
87 swimmers will be outfitted with wetsuits and will practice under her leadership in Alamitos Bay in Long Beach beginning on July 25th and then will participate in POW (Pool Open Water) exhibitions in Long Beach (Alamitos Bay) and at the USC Aquatic Center near downtown Los Angeles.
The 1500m flat, warm-water loop course will be site of the World Summer Games open water swimming final on July 30th.
Great Britain’s David Harman will serve as the event’s Head Referee and Ocean Positive’s Bruckner Chase will serve as its Chief Safety Officer.
