Meena Jain and her colleagues at the Cary Library in Lexington, Massachusetts hosted Lynne Cox for a well-received virtual presentation tonight. It was so successful that Cox is making a follow-up presentation on Saturday, March 27th at 2:00 pm EST called An Afternoon with Extreme Swimmer and Author Lynne Cox.

Cox is equally well-known as a channel and pioneering swimmer and an author of six non-fiction books including Swimming to Antarctica: Tales of a Long-Distance Swimmer, Grayson, South with the Sun: Roald Amundsen, His Polar Explorations, and the Quest for Discovery, The Day the Whale Came, Open Water Swimming Manual: An Expert’s Survival Guide For Triathletes And Open Water Swimmers, and Swimming in the Sink: An Episode of the Heart. Her seventh book will be published in 2021.
