Maui Channel and Catalina Channel swimmer Dr. Peter Attia of San Diego, California gave his TEDMed presentation on April 17th to wild acclaim and we are anxiously awaiting its posting on YouTube.
The theme of his position – and what he does on a daily basis – is the subject of increasing media attention and adoption by both swimmers and non-swimmers alike who are interested in improved athletic performance and a healthier lifestyle.
Dr. Attia takes the conventional wisdom of the American medical and nutritional communities and truly examines what we are spoon fed. His scientific eye for accuracy and his passion for a healthful lifestyle shown brightly during his TED Talk.
We cannot wait to hear his talk and absorb his wisdom.
