The
SWIMJUNKIE Challenge Open Water Series is a series of open water swims in the Philippines that include the
Subic Bay Island Swim,
SWIMJUNKIE Challenge El Nido,
SWIMJUNKIE Challenge: Caramoan 10K, and
SWIMJUNKIE Challenge: VIP Lobo.
The Subic Bay Island Swim is the host of the Global Swim Series – Southeast Asian Championships and is held in Subic Bay on the island of Luzon about 100 km from Manila with three distances: 1 km, 3 km and 5 km.
The SWIMJUNKIE Challenge El Nido is a 4 km and 8 km open water swim held in Lio Beach in El Nido on Palawan that named the Best Island in the World by Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast.
SWIMJUNKIE Challenge: VIP Lobo includes a 2.5 km and 5 km open water swim held in Lobo, Batangas on May.
SWIMJUNKIE Challenge: Caramoan includes a 5 km
Island Hop, a 10 km
Island Hop and a 10 km marathon swim held in Camarines Sur in August.

Served on the FINA Technical Open Water Swimming Committee and as Technical Delegate with the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games, and 9-time USA Swimming coaching staff.
