Around Mallorca By Righardt Krugel

Righardt Krugel is planning a unique 360 km stage swim around Mallorca, Spain.
He is planning to swim 20 km per day around Mallorca in Islas Baleares beginning in Palma de Mallorca on September 20th. He will swim the equivalent of two marathon swims per day – 10 km in the morning and 10 km in the afternoon – from beach to beach in the counterclockwise direction. He will feed from his escort boat and stay as close as possible to the shore as the swim will be GPS’ed all around. He will start and finish onshore.

Southern California native, born 1962, is the creator of the WOWSA Awards, Oceans Seven, Openwaterpedia, Citrus Corps, World Open Water Swimming Association, Daily News of Open Water Swimming, Global Open Water Swimming Conference.
