Ashley Twichell Wins Inaugural Crippen Cup

USA Swimming reported that Ashley Twichell had the fastest touch in a photo-finish among Christine Jennings and Emily Brunemann at yesterday’s Crippen Cup in Fort Myers, Florida.

The American rivals finished about as close as possible with one another: Twichell first in 2:04:23.65, Jennings second in 2:04:24.11, and Brunemann third in 2:04:24.53.

These photo-finishes among the top American women will continue through the 2016 Rio Olympics qualification races.
