Aussie And American Share Top Honors At Jr. Pan Pacs

American Tristin Baxter and Australian George O’Brian both won the Junior Pan Pacific Championship 10K race off the shores of Maui, Hawaii. The event was the younger version of the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships where swimmers ages 18 and younger from the USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico and Japan competed.

Tristin finished in 1:58:42, well ahead of second-place and fellow American Damari Iriondo in 2:01:35. George finished in 1:50:59, also comfortably ahead of silver medalist Yohe Takiguchi of Japan in 1:53:24.
