Christof Wandratsch of Germany set a record in the 450m Big Chill Swim in Windermere, England in 5 minutes 17 seconds of winter swimming at the International Winter Swimming Association World Cup series in 6.4ºC (43.5ºF) water under windy conditions on February 6th.
