The BEST FEST is something to look forward to in 2013. Mark it on your calendars now. It is an unprecedented week-long open water swimming extravaganza in Mallorca, Spain.

Sprints, marathons and relays for swimmers of all ages and abilities take place in the beautiful and protected waters between the Cap de Ses Salines, the protected marine environment island of Cabrera, Es Trenc beach and Colonia Sant Jordi.

The 7-day schedule has something for everyone. BEST FEST will feature 12 swimming events and stand up surf and kayak races in Colonia Sant Jordi in Mallorca from May 25th to June 1st, 2013.

The stunning beaches on Colonia Sant Jordi are the most famous destinations in the Balearic Islands. Es Trenc, on the west side, is the most well-known of all the beaches in Mallorca because of its shoreline of golden sand, crystal clear water and national marine park.

May 26th – Colonia Classic 1: 5 km Town to Town Super Points Race at Sa Ràpita Beach
May 26th – Fresh Water Relay: 4 x 500m starting and finishing at Es Dolc
May 27th – 4 km Round Town Swim starting at the Marques beach and ending at the Port beach
May 28th – Colonia Classic 2: 7 km Es Trenc Beach Race
May 29th – 2.5 km Tell Me Your Time starting and ending at the Marquès Beach
May 30th – 7.5 km Ses Salines Lighthouse Challenge starting at the Ses Salines lighthouse and finishing at the Port beach
May 30th – Phoenician Trading Point Swim: 3 races of 300m (kids) and 1.5 km and 2.5 km for the older swimmers
May 31st – 1.5 km Es Carbo Italian Volcano Race from Es Carbo beach to Colonia Sant Jordi port beach
June 1st – 25 km Cabrera Ultra Open Water from Cabrera Island to Sa Ràpita
June 1st – Aquathlon of 5 km run + 2.5 km swim + 3.5 km run around Es Marquès Beach
June 1st – 16 km SUP and Kayak Races around Ses Salines lighthouse from Port Beach

BEST FEST offers over €5,000 in prizes.
