Bill Rose Honored By His Fellow Coaches
After participating in the Distance and Open Water Swimming Panel with Mark Bernandino, Gregg Troy and Tyler Fenwick at the annual International Swim Coaches Association convention and sharing his experience with hundreds of other swim coaches, long-time Mission Viejo Nadadores head coach Bill Rose was honored at the International Swim Coaches Association Hall of Fame ceremonies.
For over 20 years since 1995, Coach Rose has been leading USA national pool and open water swim teams at international events from the Pan American Games and the World University Games to the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and the Olympic Games.
In addition, he has coached his individual swimmers at the Mission Viejo Nadadores in Southern California to qualify for international competitions. His swimmers have included Chloe Sutton, Fran Crippen, David Heron, Chad LaTourette and Micha Burden.
Married to fellow pool and open water coach Siga Rose, he has frequently taken his swims to lakes and the Pacific Ocean to train.
The International Swim Coaches Association serves to elevate professional coaching and support coaches with science-based resources and education across the world.
