Bill Welzien Is Down To Lucky 13

Bill Welzien has been steadily chugging towards history’s longest Century Swim.
With his most recent 12.5-mile (20.1 km) circumnavigation swim of Key West in Florida, he is 13 swims away from his 100th open water swim in the same venue.
On December 29th, Welzien completed #87 in 6 hours 12 minutes in the typically warm waters (77.5°F/25.2°C) and steady winds (5-10 mph) around the most southern point of the state of Florida, escorted by kayaker Jeremy Smith [shown above].
