Bloody Big Swim As They Speed Through The Finish
Spanish open water swimmer HHector (Héctor Ramírez Ballesteros) introduced the first hip-hop theme song to the global open water swimming community (with his HipHopenWater Nadandolibre produced for Nadandolibre).And now his hip hop influence and that of Nadandolibre is spreading around the open water swimming world.
The Bloody Big Swim has been celebrated by its own lyrics:
Reluctantly crouched at the starting line,
Engines pumping and thumping in time.
The green lights flashes, the flags go up.
Churning and burning, they yearn for the Cup.
They deftly maneuver and muscle for a rang.
Fuel burning fast on an empty tank,
Reckless and wild, they pour through the turns,
The crowd is potent and secretly astern.
As they speed through the finish, the flags go down,
The fans up and get out of town.
The arena is empty...
