Brazil Goes 1-2 Again, This Time In Setúbal Bay

From the 2008 World Open Water Swimming Championships to the last year’s FINA World Championships and many domestic and international events sandwiched between, Ana Marcela Cunha and Poliana Okimoto have been in the mix among the elite ranks of the world’s fastest open water swimmers.

In today’s FINA 10KM Marathon Swimming World Cup race in Portugal’s Setúbal Bay, there was no difference. The blazingly fast and mentally tough pair of Brazilian women went 1-2…again. With the same sights set for the 2016 Rio Olympics in their home country.
