
Bridges From An Open Water Swimmer’s Perspective


When athletes swim and look up from the water’s edge, their perspectives are always interesting to us.
Looking up towards the Golden Gate Bridge spanning the San Francisco Bay in California reminds us of looking up towards the George Washington Bridge spanning the Hudson River in New York from a distance. Two totally different swims (ocean versus river, salt versus fresh, can-be cold versus can-be warm), but the bridges in the distance from the water’s edge can provide somewhat similar side views.
