Bruckner Chase does a lot in the open water including teaching lifesaving skills from Amerika Samoa to the coast of New Jersey as well as taking paraplegics into pools and the Atlantic Ocean. He founded the Ocean Positive Foundation and the Ocean City Swim Club in New Jersey. He also wrote, hosted and produces a series of ocean safety videos together with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, filmed in a number of locations around the globe.

The coach, athlete and event organizer was hit hard by the lockdown in his native state of New Jersey. Many of his ocean events and innovative projects were suddenly halted and have been postponed until further notice. Chase will be a featured guest on tomorrow’s WOWSA Live with International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame chairman Ned Denison.

Chase will discuss how he is facing these uncertain and unprecedented times with a positive spirit and a renewed creativity. His affirmation of the positive will be uplifting, but he will also frankly discuss his significant operational, logistical and financial challenges.

For more information on his initiatives and projects, visit bcoceanpositive.org and oceancityswimclub.org.
