
Can Ana Marcela Cunha Make History at the LEN Open Water Cup?
The LEN Open Water Cup kicked off its 2022 season in Eilat, Israel where Ana Marcela Cunha of Brazil dominated the first race of the 6-part Ligue Européenne de Natation series will continue in Italy, Serbia, Germany, and Spain.
Cunha, if she continues racing on the LEN Open Water Cup series, could be the first non-European swimmer to become the European open water swimming cup champion. Previously, the following swimmers were crowned the LEN champions:
