Charlyne Secrestat Wins 25 km In Sète

Stéphane Lecat, Directeur de l’Eau Libre of the French Swimming Association, reported on the 25 km French National Open Water Swimming Championships in Sète, France. “Charlyne Secrestat won in a close race over Célia Barrot. It was a surprise because she is young (16) and it was her first 25 km marathon swim. Last year, Charlie won the bronze medal at the European Junior Championships.

A lot of swimmers did not finish the race because the water was a little bit cold, between 18 and 22ºC without any sun, but Axel Reymond swam a great race and was very fast. Things are looking good for him at the European Championships
