Doug Moyse is from Louisville, Kentucky and was a former Kentucky State Record holder in the 1650, Junior Nationals Qualifier and NCAA Division II qualifier for Wright State University. He started coaching in 1983 for the Lakeside Swim Club in Louisville prior to relocating to Dallas. He was part of a 1992 FINA World Masters Record 200m freestyle Relay (short course) along with Bobby Patten . He is also the head age group coach for the Dallas Mustangs Swim Team and coached for Dallas Aquatic Masters from 1990 to 2005 and returned to coach for DAM in 2013.
