Forbes Carlile MBE (born 3 June 1921) was Australia’s first post-World War II Olympics swimming coach and later Australia’s first competitor in the modern pentathlon at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. He remains the only person to have coached and later competed at the Olympic Games.
