Izabel Thomas is a Brazilian open water swimming coach who coached Natação No Mar , a marathon swimming relay with 40-year-old Bruno Tomaz Torres , 34-year-old Edson Ribeiro Ferreira , 53-year-old Julius Sobral Vannier , 32-year-old Lucas Pamplona Vidal , 17-year-old Paulo Vinícius Ferreira Silva , and 24-year-old Vinícius Pereira de Souza that completed a 36 km crossing from Leme to Pontal in a time of 10 hours 39 minutes 18 seconds in the Travessia do Leme ao Pontal along the Rio de Janeiro coast in Brazil on 27 April 2019.
