Jon Urbanchek is an American swimming coach, best known for his ability to develop Olympians and great swimmers. He was the 1982 – 2004 Swimming & Diving Head Coach for the University of Michigan from 1982-2004 and has served as a coach on multiple USA Swimming National Teams over the decades from the 1970s to the present. He has also coached numerous world-class open water swimmers including Chip Peterson , Emily Brunemann , Kalyn Keller, Klete Keller.
