Ken Wood is the coach of world 5K champion and two-time Olympian Melissa Gorman of Australia who qualified for the Olympic 10km Marathon Swim at the 2008 and 2012 London Olympic Games . He received the Swimming Australia Open Water Swimming Coach of the Year award in 2012.
