Coach Leroy Sparks (born 1895, died 1969) was an American swimming coach, nicknamed the Father of Swimming in Battle Creek, Michigan. He taught learn-to-swim programs for 50 years as well as served as a swimming and diving coach who gained a national reputation for his swimming and diving programs between 1943 and 1962.
