Mick Kennedy is an open water swimming coach and coached the 1993 Irish Sea Relay Swim or the Stena Sealink Challenge , a record-setting, unprecedented relay swim across the Irish Sea from Holyhead in Wales to Dunlaoghaire Dublin, Ireland. The total swim time was 29 hours 59 minutes and 56 seconds. The swim started at 10:00 pm 16 August 1993 and finished at 4:00 am on 18 August 1993.
