Paul Newsome is an open water swimmer from Australia who successfully completed the English Channel on 9 September 2011 in 12 hours 14 minutes and has completed the Rottnest Channel Swim 4 times as well as won the 2013 Manhattan Island Marathon Swim . He is the founder and Head Coach of Swim Smooth , together with Adam Young .
