She served as the safety coordinator for the Trans Tahoe Relay and Olympic Club.
She has finished 30 Waikiki Roughwater Swims between 1982-2017.
She won the 2017 Rough Water Overall Achievement award from the Olympic Club for winning 7 Pacific Masters races won 2 gold medals at the 2017 World Masters Games.
The 2018 Community Award was presented to the 25th Reunion Team that honored the first female competitors at the Trans Tahoe Relay including captain Phyllis Quinn, Lynn Jolly, Joan Schriger, Mike McCaffery, Ed Rudloff, and Jim Griffith.
