Reira Hara ( Layla Hara ) is a graduate of Waseda University in Tokyo and currently works at Nihon University as a lecturer of Sports Science Faculty. She serves as the trainer with the Japanese national open water swimming team and is a member of the Japan Swimming Federation and its open water swimming committee.
