Ricardo Cintra is the husband and swimming coach of Poliana Okimoto Cintra , a world-class open water swimmer and 3-time Olympian who qualified for the 2008 and 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games in the Olympic 10km Marathon Swim . He coached his wife to victories in numerous pro races around the world and in her native Brasil, including a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
