Professor Ricardo Continentino Ratto is an open water swimming administrator, coach and official from Brazil. He is a FINA-certified international open water swimming referee who officiated the 2012 London Olympics in the Olympic 10km Marathon Swim . He organizes the safety aspects of Travessia dos Fortes , a mass participation race in Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro and was a speaker at the 2012 Global Open Water Swimming Conference on the RMS Queen Mary on 22 September 2012 in Long Beach, California. He is also the head referee at the King and Queen of the Sea (Desafio Rei e Rainha do Mar ) in Copacabana Beach , Brasil.
