Richard Stannard was the British triathlon champion in 2001, the world Aquathlon champion in 2003 and 2006, and the Biathle World Champion in 2005, 2007 and 2010. Stannard has also led the swim leg of the London Triathlon for ten years in row from 1997- 2006. In 2008, he attended the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as the manager and coach to the Irish triathlon team. In 2011, he was awarded the Inman Challenge Cup , the top prize at the Henley Swim in England.
