Rob Laurie is a second generation Lake Tahoe resident and a world-class triathlete. Growing up on Lake Tahoe , Laurie knows the lake like the back of his hand. Having swam for Incline High and then Division 1 at California State University at Long Beach, Laurie now runs one of the largest construction companies in the Tahoe Area. He trains in the lake throughout the year. He is planning a single crossing in the summer of 2012, and has started a multi-sport coaching program. He is married and has two children that are both on local Tahoe swim and ski teams.
