Thomas Hoad , born 22 March 1940 in Perth, Australia, is an Australian water polo coach and player. who was appointed to FINA in 1968. He served as chairman of the 1998 FINA World Swimming Championships held in Perth, Western Australia and is currently a director of Australian Water Polo and coaches juniors at Melville and at a state level in Western Australia at the age of 78.
