Tom Pocklington is a Life Member of the British Long Distance Swimming Association and coach for 18-year-old Brenda Sherratt who was the first swimmer to swim 22.5 miles across Loch Ness in Scotland on 26-28 July 1966. He was a Trainer/Coach S.T.A. (Dip.), a British Long Distance Swimming Association Pilot Life-Saver, a member of the British Coaches Association, and a M.I.B.M.
