Southern Pacific Masters Swimming is looking to recognize the best masters swimming coach each year.

Dan Wegner explains, “This person represents the coach’s Coach: an example of someone out their possessing certain qualities the rest of us can use as an example to follow.

This person is not only a coach who has succeeded in the pool, but is also someone who has helped expand the reach of Southern Pacific Masters Swimming
.

The purpose of this award is to recognize the Southern Pacific Masters Swimming (SPMS) swimming coach who has demonstrated outstanding coaching qualities, club development and overall SPMS participation.

While it takes a great deal of time and effort to sustain pool time, club membership, meet preparations and coaching on deck, there are some coaches that go even beyond what their team requires. These coaches are involved in all aspects if what SPMS has to offer and they give of themselves to see that their love of swimming reaches the widest audience possible
.”

All nominations and information must be received by March 15th and sent to Erika Stebbins via email at Coaches@SPMasterSwim.org.
