With a body fat percentage well under 6%, the former collegiate swimming star has no problem swimming in Lake Tahoe at altitude in 43°F (6.1°C) water.

His comment was reflective of more reality than exaggeration in today’s morning training session in one of California’s most popular high-altitude training venues.
