Collis Williams won his third consecutive Tex Robertson Highland Lakes Challenge with the fastest cumulative stage swim time over the last five days.
Collis’ aggregate time for the 5-lakes-in-5-days Monster Challenge was 5 hours 30 minutes and 58 seconds. Californian Ali Hall won the women’s division with a time of total 6 hours 47 minutes and 50 seconds.
Collis completed a sweep of all 5 stages with his win in the 3.25 mile Lake Travis Stage on the last day, claiming all five of the whole Bluebonnet Cafe’s World Famous Pies, one of which is awarded to each day’s Monster Challenge Stage winner.
Robert Alford won the 3-day-3-lake Weekend Warrior event overtaking Ken Turner on the final stage to squeak out his third consecutive victory.
