GWSC is an Polish association founded by the extreme winter swimmer Piotr Biankowski and his #GWSCTeam which organizes Gdynia Winter Swimming Cup – International Ice Polish Swimming Championship in Baltic Sea in Gdynia, Poland.
The competition takes place in the swimming pool built in the yachting port in Gdynia. We race at distances from 25m to 1000m ( those who finish 1 km receive the Baltic Cold Beast title).
In January 2022, the 3rd edition of GWSC was held, attracted by 400 swimmers from all over the world.
Every year the competition is accompanied by a charity fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald Foundation.
GWSC organizers are Piotr Biankowski, Aleksandra Kabelis, Marcin Łaszkiewicz and Beata Zwolińska.
