This nomination is so richly deserved. Julian invests a great deal of time on updating and maintaining the database as well as providing lots of fascinating & valuable statistics.
It is difficult to find somebody you like Julian who gives shape to his passion at such a global scale. He brings a great combination of grit, analytics and emotion. Outside the world of swimming, his sense of public duty to the UK and the global climate effort towers above most people I know. Difficult to find somebody more deserving.
